Weber Ute Boys

This photograph is one of the few photos which labels its subjects (four unidentified young boys) as “Weber Utes.” It is compiled here with a slightly different photo from the same session, and different copies of each.

These images date from the late 1860s. They’re sourced from various auction/collector websites.

These boys show up in other photographs. See individual 6, individual 7, individual 8, and individual 12.

Individual 12 (seated on the left here) appears in another photo that also has the label “Weber Utes,” along with another boy and an adult man. The man in that photo (individual 11) has in turn appeared in two other photos with another unidentified adult man, and in a group photo that includes Little Soldier.

The seated boy in the front here, individual 7, was photographed with a man (individual 9) who in turn appeared in a photo with Little Soldier.

A collection of documents, excerpts, and photographs relevant to the so-called Weber Ute people of Northern Utah. Not a complete history — research aid only.
