Stansbury’s and Antelope Islands are being reserved exclusively for keeping stock for the Perpetual Emigrating Fund Company

From the Deseret News, September 21, 1850.

Sec. 17. The Islands in the Great Salt Lake known as Stansbury’s Island and Antelope Island, are hereby reserved and appropriated for the exclusive use and benefit of [the Perpetual Emigrating Company], for the keeping of stock, &c.
