Individual 4 is an unidentified man who appeared in a photograph with Little Soldier, Little Soldier’s possible wife (individual 2), and possibly with individual 5. He also appeared in single portraits, and with an unidentified adult (same person as in photo with Little Soldier and wife) and children.
One child who appears in the photo of Individual 4 and two children (the seated child) may also be in the group portrait with Little Soldier, Individual 3, and three children.
These date between the late 1860s-early 1870s and were taken in Salt Lake City.
The high-quality photos come from the C.W. Carter glass plate negative collection, the others from various auction and collector sites.
The “Pahute” label on some of these is incorrect.
