Individual 16

Individual 16 is an unidentified man who has been photographed with individual 14, individual 15, and individual 17 in a group photo labeled, “Indians at Salt Lake.” Little Soldier might also be in this photo.

Individual 16 has also appeared in a portrait.

These date between the late 1860s-early 1870s and were taken in Salt Lake City.

The high-quality photo came from the C.W. Carter glass plate negative collection. Other photos came from an auction/collector site.

A collection of documents, excerpts, and photographs relevant to the so-called Weber Ute people of Northern Utah. Not a complete history — research aid only.
