Individual 15/Lho-Tho-Ne

Individual 15 is an unidentified man who has been photographed with individual 14 and another unknown man. He also appears in a group photograph with individual 14 and six other men, including individual 16.

An image of individual 15 appears in the University of Washington Special Collections, with the name “Lho-Tho-Ne” attached. See here.

This individual is only tentatively linked to Little Soldier via photographs. However, the group photo here labeled “Indians at Salt Lake”, which includes individuals 14, 15, and 16, may also include Little Soldier. (The unidentified man seated on the floor, second from the right.) Poor photo quality prevents a confident identification.

The high-quality photos come from the C.W. Carter glass plate negative collection. The large group photo came from an auction/collector site.

These date between the late 1860s-early 1870s and were taken in Salt Lake City.
